PolymerFX™ Flake Floors offer a wide selection of colors and texture combinations, ranging from the look of natural stone or terrazzo to vibrant colors that match a favorite sports team or company logo. We can customize the system to match the needs of each project and offer a One Day Floor system that can be ready to use 24 hours after installation.
PolymerFX™ Flake Floor Components
PolymerFX™ has a passion for creating beautiful floors. The co-founders have over forty-five years of combined experience in product development, manufacturing, and selling high-performance coatings. We offer different components for our PolymerFX™ Flake Floor, depending on the project’s needs.
Topcoat: Our standard topcoat is a Polyaspartic, which is up to 5 times more abrasion resistant than a typical industrial grade epoxy topcoat and up to 20 times more abrasion resistant than a typical DIY epoxy. Exterior applications may require an additional topcoat.
Polyurea Primer or Basecoat: Our polyurea primer/base coat is used in cold weather installations, one-day installations, and quick return to service projects.
Epoxy Primer or Basecoat: Our epoxy primer/base coat is used on warmer weather installations, 2-day installations, or when moisture issues are present in the concrete substrate.
